Breaking away from its traditional budget model, Allegiant Air will debut a premium cabin on select aircraft starting in the spring of 2027. The eight-seat section will feature expanded legroom, device power, and complimentary baggage allowances, with ticket sales already underway for initial routes. Additionally, the carrier recently initiated free non-alcoholic beverage service for all economy passengers. For aspiring airline crew, this strategic evolution highlights a broader industry shift as low-cost carriers increasingly adopt premium amenities to capture higher-yield leisure traffic.
